Sterling Silver is a popular alloy in jewelry making, it consists of a mixture between 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. Argentium Sterling Silver contains a larger amount of pure silver 94%, 5% copper and 1% of the element germanium. This unique combination makes Argentium Sterling Silver seven times more tarnish-resistant than conventional Sterling Silver.
